ANNUAL MEETING

Not all Jam and Jerusalem!
Some members are good at making jam, some are not. Some excel at cakes and pastries and some definitely do not! Some love gardening, amateur dramatics, travel, handicrafts, discussing current affairs etc.

But we all have in common that we enjoy meeting together and learning something new – preferably with some humour thrown in. This may be through an entertaining speaker, a quiz or workshop of some kind. We also enjoy outings and suppers, walks and pub lunches between the monthly meetings throughout the year.

At the same time we are part of a wider organisation and members may participate in East Yorkshire Federation events if they wish as well as courses at the WI Denman College in Oxfordshire.

So if you would like to visit or join a friendly and caring group of ladies, do come to one of our meetings. These are held on the first Wednesday of the month (except January) in Christ Church Hall by the pond. You will be most welcome.
