If you are looking
for a summer pastime - not too energetic but with some relaxing
outdoor exercise. Why not play BOWLS!
The Club is situated next to the pond and is
always looking to recruit bowlers, both experienced and novices.
There are various levels of play from casual
social bowling to Inter Club matches. Whatever you wish to do will
be your choice. The green is normally open 10.30am to dusk from
from Mid April to Mid September and there is always space for casual
play.
There is no joining fee, only an Annual Subscription
to finance the running of the Club. If you wish to just try out
the game, both shoes and woods can be borrowed, and a member of
the Club will always be willing to help you. Why not turn up and
have a go?
